Zhang Song presents the map of Xichuan (fictitious stories 18)

In the novel, Liu Zhang, the ruler of Xichuan (西川) sent an envoy named Zhang Song to Xuchang (許昌) to offer their tributes. Zhang Song initially had drawn a map of Xichuan and wanted to present it to Cao Cao , as he hoped Cao Cao would help seize Xichuan from Liu Zhang and rule Xichuan better. However, Cao Cao treated Zhang Song in an unfriendly manner and Zhang Song was chased out of Xuchang. Later, Zhang Song met Liu Bei and decided to present the map to Liu Bei instead, urging Liu Bei to seize Xichuan from Liu Zhang and that he would help Liu Bei secretly. However, historical records indicated that Zhang Song did not present the map to Liu Bei voluntarily, but after Liu Bei asked him about the conditions in Xichuan.
